In 2021, I graduated the Swinburne University of Technology with a double degree in Media & Communications (Social Media major) and Health Science (Neuroscience major) as the highest achieving graduate in the cohort.
I have a passion for social media, mental health advocacy and getting involved in my community.
Since graduating I have had two jobs in very different fields. In 2022, I worked in Aurecon’s external communications team as the Brand Marketing & Communications Intern – Employer Brand. Through 2023, I worked at Murrindindi Shire Council as the Communications Officer – Floods and Recovery on a fixed-term contract.
My interest for social media and digital communication started over a decade ago when I created Facebook pages for my local community festival and my original fire brigade, but it really turned into a passion once I saw the power of social media in connecting my community. I run several volunteer social media pages and have started voluntary freelance consultancy work within my community.
I studied at Swinburne to develop professional media and marketing skills – to make a profession out of my passions. I brought my skills to many university clubs for a range of industries and interests including engineering, design, psychology, food, and K-pop.
